Join The Old Catholic Church Yahoo Group
The
Old Catholic Church invites OSMTH Magistral Grand
Priory Members to join its newly
launched free Yahoo Group where you can take part in
Live-Chat, post comments and questions, join email
list, and take part in regular polls/Discussion
Groups.
You need to have a Yahoo membership ID before you can join the Old Catholic Church Group at Yahoo.
If you do not already have one:
Click the link to our group site.

1.
From the
‘Home’ screen select ‘Register’ (located on the
right side of the screen right under the
advertising banner)
2.
Fill out all
the questions on the ‘Sign up for your Yahoo! ID’
page. This sets up a Yahoo group account for you,
and will place a cookie on your system so that Yahoo
will know who you are next time you come back. But
make sure you write down the Yahoo ID and password
you select, so you can log in from a different
machine or get back into the group if you lose your
cookies. Yahoo will keep prompting you for
information, until you get it all entered correctly.
Just read the instructions on the screen carefully.
We recommend you use the email address of your
‘email membership’ in the ‘Alternate Email:’ box.
3.
Once you have
created your Yahoo! Group ID you will be returned to
the Old Catholic Church Group site page. But, you
will still be shown as a ‘Non Member’ of the group
and have no privileges
4.
Select ‘Join
This Group!’ located on the right side of the
screen.
5.
Select how you
want Messages delivered (can be changed later –
Individual emails is recommended)
6.
Select if you
want messages sent as HTML or not. (Really doesn’t
make mush difference unless your email system will
not accept html, but most will, and this too can be
changed later.
7.
Click the
‘Join’ button. This will send an email to the
Moderator of the group requesting membership in the
group.
8.
Once your
membership has been approved, (usually with-in one
day) you will receive a Welcome email and can access
all of the options on the Group page.
If you already have a Yahoo group ID:
Click the link to our group site and click the Sign-In link to the far right and just above the Old Catholic Church bar. Enter your Yahoo ID and Password in the box and click 'Sign In'

Select how you

The next time you visit http://groups.yahoo.com/group/oldcatholicuk, you may still be listed as ‘Guest.’ Simply click ‘Sign In’ and enter the Yahoo! ID and password you created above, and click ‘Sign in’ you will be recognized as the member you are. If you also check the box beside ‘Remember my ID & password’ you will not have to sign in next time.
