Magistral
Priory of Canada
Today the OSMTH Order in Canada with its
membership, is a multi-lingual, multi-denominational Christian, charitable
organization whose goals are to:
- care for the aged, sick, and needy
- support medical research
- promote ecumenism
- promote national unity and the qualities of
good citizenship
The Magistral Priory of Canada is headed by a
Magistral Prior who is assisted by an Executive Committee.
The work of the Magistral Priory is centered
on three Commissions controlled by the Committee:
- The Charity Commission is responsible for
recommending and carrying out the charitable objectives of the Order in
Canada.
- The Ecumenical Commission is responsible
for recommending and conducting ecumenical religious activities within the
Order.
- The Diplomatic Commission is responsible
for recommending and carrying out the diplomatic objectives of the Order.
