Admissions

Admission to the Ordo Supremus Militaris Templi Hierosolymitani, Magistral Grand Priory of the Holy Lands (Notre Dame, Saint Mary Magdalene), is open to men and women over the age of eighteen.  Applicants, called "postulants," have to possess the virtues and motivation of an honorable person, and a willingness to support the aims of the order. A postulant must be sponsored by a Knight of the Order, and if not known to an existing member, then a Brother or Sister of the Order will be assigned to assist you during your first year of membership.  Due to the International membership of our members, face to face meetings are difficult, but one should attend at least one meeting of the Magistral Grand Priory before Admission. 

All postulants must complete applications (including photograph) which are then forwarded, along with the recommendations of the Magistral Grand Prior, Priory Chancellor and Marshall; Only after investiture may the postulant be invested with the white mantle with double red cross and collar of our Order.

Please open the file below, print and complete the petition forms which should include 4 passport photographs and your payment for petition fees. Your Application should include the following completed forms  - (1) Application CV Form. (2) Main Petition Form. (3) Grand Priory Petition Form. (4) Four passport sized photographs. (5) Application Fee by Cheque or International Money Order in Pounds Sterling ONLY.

Please remember we are the Magistral Grand Priory of the Holy Lands (Notre Dame, Saint Mary of Magdalene).  If you would like contacts with other Priories of the Knights Templar in other countries, please e-mail us at the address above.  Having said that, there are no geographic restrictions on  joining our Magistral Grand Priory.  If you are willing to travel to the United Kingdom or other European locations, and meet the other qualifications, you are most welcome to apply for membership.
